HISTORY

The story

Invented in 1887 by two young men in Garner, Texas who wanted a game that felt like cards but wouldn't get them in trouble with the Baptist elders.

They chose the domino set, borrowed the trick-taking rules from whist, and built the game that would become the official State Game of Texas.
